Sisterly cousins of Matt here, Terri and Tracy Chapman, are all bundled up for the cold on the couch. It’s only now as a snowscape-living parent that I more deeply understand “the process”, prolonged as it tends to be, of getting all that gear superimposed upon the little humans. I have to imagine it was the same for the woman behind those outstretched arms which I’ll presume belong to my aunt Judy (DeVoe) Chapman, their momma.
The photo helpfully has a processing date of Jan 1966, so I’ll assume this is near Christmastime in ’65 — 55 years ago!! — making the girls around 4 months and 2 years 4 months here, which reasonably fits.
I’ll need some recognition from others of the couch/pillows to help place the location, as in whose house this is.
- Where is this photo taken?
- Any winter memories from early youth?
