Simple hugs and smiles for you on what would appear to be a winter (isn’t that snow through the leaded glass window?) day for Erin Pickett and her dad Dave.
Those appear to be two large black and white photos adjacent to the lamp in the corner — they must have been important to the owner of this home, Bertha “Bert” (Greiner) Jordan. Bert was Erin’s great grandmother through her mother. (Bert –> Joseph –> Meg –> Erin) and would live until 1992. This home (“North St House”) was on the east side of Indianapolis near the Irvington historic district and Ellenberger park. Based on Erin’s appearance, I would guess this to be taken around 1990 +/- 2 years, which would make Erin around 11 years old.
- Any memories about Grandma Bert’s house?
- Any memories regarding Bert around the end of her life?
