We continue the process of now identifying the grandchildren in the featured photo.
Jay Broadsword is the oldest of all grandchildren to Eunice and John –and is the oldest child of Cora’s. He was turning 18yo in our part 2. He’s now 32 years, and is single. He would later marry in 1926, around 2 years after this photo. We’ve already highlighted Cora’s other 2 children, the twin girls Edythe and Ethyl (I love the y’s!)
Now we turn to Orland’s children. Above is his oldest son, Clair. I love how remarkably consistent Clair appears over the years as you see in the older comparison from 1934.
Here is Robert, Orland’s next son, the infant in the 1910 photo and now emerging into his teenage years.
Next are Orland’s youngest children, the 2 girls Neva and Dorothy.
Ancestry has another younger photo of them:
We move on to Bert and Bertha’s children; beginning with Geraldine:
And next with Harland:
And next with Mary “Betty” Elizabeth (my maternal grandmother!):
Then we move on to Carrie’s daughter Evelyn, seated next to Betty.
Jesse’s sons Harold and George are not pictured, they would be 18 and 17 years old.
So this accounted for everyone in the photo, except for this girl:
In part 5, we will uncover who she is
